An important point to note is, there are two alternate methods of terminating a scenario. The recommended route is to use the finish option on the last question:
This is recommended only when you are 100% sure that you have completed your interaction with the scenario, and would like to update the range with your progress.
However, if you wish to exit the scenario and terminate all progress (by progress, this is only related to the scores attained per tasks completed), use the exit options at the top left/bottom left:
The two options presented in this method imply the following:
- EXIT TO DASHBOARD – Exit the scenario BUT keep the instance running. This option won’t terminate the scenario but will keep running in the background. Take note that, the scenario will only run for the duration of the scenario runtime, with the exception of Open Range scenarios.
- EXIT AND TERMINATE – This will terminate that instance of the scenario, and your task progression will be lost. This is an important note for Managers, it is vital to emphasize to users that are part of your Organization, to ensure that they use this option, if and only if, they wish to lose their task progression. Please note, by Organization, we are referring to the organizations feature on our platform.
Note: Lobbies provide the event admin with a feature to prevent termination by users. In such a case, the above options won't be available and only the lobby event admin can terminate your instance.
