Once you have settled on a scenario you would like to play, click the 'View More' button on the scenario, and it will open the scenario info page as shown below.
Here you can see details about the scenario including its mode, type, difficulty, and duration. Scenarios can be played either in Single Player or Multi Player mode. Click the dropdown on the start button, and you will see both options.
Note: To start a scenario in Multi Player mode, you need to create a lobby for it.
For the rest of this section, we shall be focusing on playing a single-player scenario. To play the scenario in single-player mode, click the START button. Alternatively, you can click on the dropdown on the start button and click on single player.
The scenario will then start loading as indicated in the progress bar at the top.
When the scenario has fully loaded up, you can click the START button, and this will take you to the scenario content page.
Every scenario by default has Overview, Questions, Servers, Scores and Help tabs on the left pane. The top right menu will usually display the duration remaining before the scenario ends, a button to view your score, VPN connection status as well as the scenario cloud status.
As can be seen above, the Overview tab enables you to see the mission (a tutorial if it’s a single-player scenario) and any rules including access credentials.
Questions will allow you to take any assessments in the scenario.
Click on Servers if you would like to view as well as connect to any virtual machines associated with the scenario as shown below.
Depending on the services that have been configured on the different servers, including SSH, RDP and Web Service, click on the icon to load that service.
Note: A web proxy will enable you to load any websites configured on that server, while an SSH service will enable you to open a web shell to the server right on the browser. RDP service allows you to load the desktop of the server on the browser. These services do not require you to connect to the VPN.
Click on Score to see your score as well as scores of other participants who have played the scenario.
