To make a private playlist public, an admin enabled account is required. Thus, copy and share the link to your playlists to the admin, then they would simply need to the playlist you created, and change the STATUS option on the top right, from PRIVATE to PUBLIC
From there, users will now be able to search for, your now publicly visible, playlist.
A note on playlist creation as an Admin
The steps of creating a playlist for an admin are the same as for a regular user, however, for admins, there is one extra option in the creating playlist form:
This option, Type: allows admins to categorize which “type” of playlist they are creating. There are four types (as of this writing):
- Community – these are playlists that are available for free on the platform.
- Develop Skills – this type specifies that the created playlist is part of the Skills Development Library: this is a library of content that is designed for skill/competence/workforce development. Review our catalogues for more info.
- Career Paths – this type specifies that the created playlist is part of a set of content focused on a specific work-role/specialist domain, e.g., SOC Tier 1 playlist is a playlist that has content suitable for a SOC Level 1 analyst.
- MITRE ATT&CK – this type specifies that the created playlist is part of the MITRE ATT&CK Library. We have a partnership with MITRE ATT&CK, and thus content listed in this section are related to this partnership.
You may have noticed a similarity between the type of playlists and this section on the platform:
The Content Library Section, where we have the above categories, ties in with the Playlist type. Thus, as admins, when creating a playlist, ensure to specify the accurate type. If unsure, use the None option.
