The Events section is where Instructor Lead, Instructor-less, Competitions, Cyber Drills, Bootcamps, LiveFIRE Exercises, Webinars and more will be held and accessed. CYBER RANGES provides the capability to play scenarios hosting multiple users, either as an individual user (Player vs Player event) or as a team (Team vs Team event).
Any scenario can be used as part of an Event. These events are known as lobbies, and they essentially refer to a virtual room, to which a user will be invited to partake in the select scenario.
Events is the hub where you can discover scenarios designed for competition, specifically multiplayer scenarios. Participants have the option to engage either as individual players competing against each other or as teams facing off against one another. Events encompass a variety of formats such as LiveFire, Competition, Bootcamps, and Webinars.
When you click on All, you will see any events you have created, any past events as well as any upcoming events as follows:
For people or teams to compete, a lobby must be created first. This is usually created by the person responsible for creating the event or challenge. Once this is done, other users will just need to join the already existing lobby.
Important Note: Under the event tab, you can only create lobbies for scenarios that are multiplayer. If you would like to create a lobby for a single-player scenario, you need to go to Scenarios and select the single-player scenario. On the dropdown for the start button, click on multiplayer, and you will be prompted to create a lobby for it.
