We are pleased to announce the release of r2025-04 CYBER RANGES, code named Phobos!
This release introduces key improvements across the Main App, Scenario Composer, Admin App, and multiple Backend Services. Alongside new features, we’ve refined workflows, improved UI consistency, and resolved a range of bugs.

What’s New - APP
Editor Enhancements
The editor now supports highlighting and image alignment, providing finer control when formatting event, scenario, or report content.
Event Management
- Added option to prevent termination of scenario instances via event configuration.
Expanded language support: Japanese is now available.
Observer Upgrades
- Support for AGGREGATE question types.
- New faction visibility mode: TEAM, allowing users to only view their team’s scoreboard.
- Enhanced suspend/resume stack management directly from the Observer UI.
- Observer scenarios now allow user faction changes in TvT events.
Profile & Navigation
- Account Settings tab moved to the end of the profile tab list, now with icons for easier identification.
Reports
- Switched to Report Service v2 for better performance and caching.

- Battle Labs – tabs order aligned with the Events page.
- Chat – focus is maintained when creating direct chats.
- Filters – translation updates now persist after language change.
- Observer Assessments – role handling improved in TTX multi-faction events.
- Profile – VPN certificates can now be downloaded; LinkedIn badge shares display the proper badge image.
- Teams & Organizations – consistent sorting, active member counts, improved error handling.
- Org Statistics – timeframe labels updated to “last week/month” for accuracy.
