Enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) is a crucial step in securing your CYBER RANGES account. By adding an extra layer of security, 2FA helps protect your personal information from unauthorized access, even if your password is compromised. This guide will walk you through the process of setting up 2FA on CYBER RANGES, ensuring that your account remains secure.
Note: Before we get started, please download the Google Authenticator app from your app store and have it ready.
- Log in to app.cyberranges.com.
Click on user account icon in the top left corner, then go to ACCOUNT SETTINGS tab.
Navigate to TWO FACTOR AUTHENTICATION section then click ENABLE.
Using Google Authenticator, (Or any other compatible Authenticator), Scan the QR code displayed on the screen and enter the 6-digit generated on the Authenticator. Click VERIFY.
You can save your recovery codes in a safe location you can access to recover your account. When saved, check on "Recovery Codes saved" checkbox. You have now enabled 2FA on your account.
